Surveys for Families and Students
Every five years schools are required to go through an accreditation process, and this is our year! Please help us by filling out the confidential survey for your stakeholder group. The surveys are now open, and will close at the end of the day Friday, October 23.
FAFSA is Open
Seniors- REMINDER: Please be sure to file the FAFSA this month, the sooner, the better. If you were not able to attend the Financial Aid night on Oct 13th, I would like to share the presentation with you, please feel free to use this presentation as a guide for the FAFSA and scholarships. If you have questions, please reach out.

The University of Oregon S.A.I.L. Program has some really cool FREE workshops and activities for students. If you are a senior and could use help with your college essay, check it out! Spirit Week Next Week
Coming up fast is A3’s Spirit Week. To help out with getting into the spirit, we have a bag for each student we will mail out. Please handle it with care and do not leave in a warm place!
Tuesday, October 27th: Pajama Day: Use the cocoa in your bag to enjoy cocoa in your pjs!
Thursday , October 28th: Mustache day: Use the prop included in your bag for fun photo ops.
Friday, October 30th: Halloween Dress Up (as long as faces are not covered and teachers can see who you are. Also no weapons / items not allowed during normal school days): we enclosed a prop if you want to use it.

A3 Lunchtime Hangout!
Are you looking for a way to hang out with other A3 students during lunch—maybe meet new people and/or visit old friends? We have set up a staff-supervised, google Lunchtime Hangout which will take place every school day during lunch (from 11:05-11:50).

GSA/QSA/LGBTQIA+ Club
Tuesdays at lunch: Come one, come all to the Questioning Alliance. No matter your orientation, pronouns, or preferences, if you are friendly, open and non-judgmental, we would love to have you. Please join us!!
Talk with friends, discuss issues and advocacy. Be a positive voice for change. Jill is the staff advisor of this group. We will have a Google Meet at lunch (11:05-11:55) on Tuesdays.

Join the Robotics Team
You’re invited to join the competitive robotics team at A3 called TRA3N REX! The season will be VERY different this year because of the pandemic, but we’re going to push through to make it work. If you’re interested (and especially underrepresented groups such as a person of color or a student who identifies as she/her pronouns) please contact Cody at cody.rosenberg@springfield.k12.or.us.

Weird Random Conversations Hosted by Cody
Come to the Google Meet “weirdrando” this Wednesday Oct. 14 from 2pm-3pm and have a weird random conversation with your A3 family and MAKE FRIENDS. We’re going to start by talking about the fascination with the 80’s and if you’re lucky we might have an “Ocean Man” dance party… or karaoke! FIND YOUR PEOPLE AT A3 and get you WAGGISH ON! Don’t be shy. Come on by. We’re all weird and awkward in the WeirdRando Zone! Just go into meet, type in “weirdrando” and join in.
2019-2020 Yearbooks on sale now
$30 Hardcover. $25 Softcover. At A3, Mondays thru Fridays from 9 to 4. Ring the doorbell and we’ll sell it to you outside. Cash & check only, no debit cards. We did not do any pre-sales for the 19-20 yearbook, if you didn’t go into the Lifetouch portal and purchase one through the portal, you haven’t purchased a yearbook yet.
