RENEWING YOUR REGISTERED TEACHING LICENSE

It is your responsibility to keep track of when your license expires and reapply for a new one. It sometimes takes six (6) months or more to go through the re-certification process so please start the process at least six (6) months before your expiration date. If you do not have a license, you do not teach.

You will need the following forms submitted for renewal of your license.

Letter from the Director of A3

TSPC now requires that all applications for teaching licenses, new and renewal, be processed through their new portal. They will not accept any applications not processed through their portal. Just go to the TSPC main page and click on eLicensing Portal on the left side of the screen. It will take you through the process of what is required.

The fee for new and renewal licenses are $ 140.00 plus a $ 10.00 portal use fee. Keep a copy of your check and submit it to Emerald for reimbursement.

Click on Renewal and Upgrade Instructions

Click on Teacher

Click on Charter School Teacher Registration

Please read and follow all instructions on this page.

 

 

Make sure you get your PEER Form and PDU forms signed by Mike. Then turn them in to Emerald. She will submit them to TSPC. They have to come from the school. The rest of your application must be sent by you.

Please request the letter from Mike and submit it with your application materials. You do not need to redo your fingerprinting or ORELA test.

Submit your fee form attached to a reimbursement form to Emerald for reimbursement.
