A3 Parent Connections:
Connections events are fun, informative, and low-key. Designed to build community and expand communication, parent involvement is highly encouraged. Parents who join receive online invitations to the following events before they are announced to the general school population. Sign up at the link BELOW and choose A3 Parent Connections. Some of the things we have planned for the 2014 to 2015 year are:
- Confluence: This event happens every December and May. It is a whole school public demonstration that features work from student classes. Families and the public are HIGHLY encouraged to attend.
- A3 Parent 101 Series: These are parent meetings A3 style. Designed to build community between the parents and the staff, these gatherings include social time (food!), parent education (where you learn the “ins and outs” of how A3 operates), and a chance to experience an inquiry based lesson taught by A3 teachers (giving you a taste of what your student is learning during the school day).
- Dine with the Director: Come “hang out “with school director Mike Fisher. We host two drop in times a year in conjunction with our Student Led Conferences. Refreshments will be served.
- Performance Receptions: These get-togethers are scheduled in conjunction with various A3 student performances. Parents are invited to help provide refreshments for Performance Receptions to help us celebrate the accomplishments of our students.
