“J-Term” is a month long ‘mini-term’ that takes place in January, at the end of the first semester. It is a special time. All regular classes (with the exception of project math) are suspended and students have the option to take day long specialized intensive classes. Students participate in courses that combine academics with artistic pursuits. Examples of past topics include: The Science of Science Fiction, The Anatomy of Rock Climbing, Literary Dog Training. Juniors and seniors also have the option of completing an internship with a local business.
